NVIDIA's willingness to provide residual value support. So let's look at that. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Wang announced that NVIDIA has the option, the option to backstop up to $125 billion at 25% of a massive deal, this half a trillion dollar deal of AI infrastructure financing. 

Now, does that backstop validate confidence or does it show that the lenders or a little squishy and still require credit enhancement? 

And the answer is both. A lot of media reports interpret the term backstop in a really negative light. But what they fail to convey is that the backstop is at NVIDIA's option. 

In other words, if the financer feels the deal is too risky, NVIDIA at its sole option can absorb up to 25% of that risk.
