One of our customers, SMP Global, selected Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP to modernize their SQL Server environment while ensuring disaster recovery and high availability as they exit their data center.
They needed to migrate mission-critical SQL server to AWS without disrupting day-to-day operation. While adopting cost-effective cloud-native solution, FSx4 NetApp ONTAP stood out due to its strong price performance, native AWS integration, the ability to deploy multi-availability zone, and also cross-region replication.
As a result, SMP Global is able to continuously optimize costs, maintain data availability, while successfully migrate the SQL Server environment to AWS.
