AMD's secret weapon NVIDIA won't copy

What these relationships do show, however, is that AMD is not merely asking customers to consume a finished product. It's inviting. It's opening up the kimono. It's inviting major customers and partners into the engineering process, something that NVIDIA does not seem likely to do, at least not to that extent. Different philosophies.
