Why Engineering Teams Are Ditching Cloud AI Spend

So yeah, I think, you know, to your point around moving to inference, I run a fairly large software engineering team, and I would say we have been using a lot of the latest AI development tools. When I look at the run rate of spend we had coming out last month, it was very significant. So one of our goals going through this next year is to work towards 50% of our inference being with on-prem AI tokens, using our own infrastructure, and then 50%. 50% leveraging the providers and really divvying that up based on different use cases. But we're at a point where you have to start leveraging on-prem because the cost structure is just going up and to the right.
