Discipline is just a calendar

Stop chasing motivation. Start building this one unsexy habit instead. Bill Gates reads 50 books a year and time blocks his day in five minute chunks. Not because he's smarter than you. Because he stopped negotiating with himself. Here's what nobody tells you: discipline isn't a personality trait, it's a calendar. You don't need more willpower, you need fewer decisions left to chance. Every open slot in your day is a door you're letting excuses walk through. Block it or lose it. The schedule isn't the boring part. It's the only part that actually works. Structure isn't restriction, it's protection from you.
