You're not lazy, you're terrified

You're not lazy. You've said that word so many times it stopped meaning anything. Lazy people don't lie awake at 2am thinking about the thing they're avoiding. Lazy people don't feel sick every time they open that email. Here's what's actually happening: you're scared, and calling yourself lazy is easier than admitting that. Lazy doesn't require you to face anything. Scared does. The real reason you haven't started isn't your schedule or your energy levels. It's that starting means you might fail at something you actually care about. Admit that. Then do it scared. That's the only way anyone's ever done it.
