If Mlb Players Can Get Traded Overnight

If MLB players can get traded overnight and still perform, you can handle a bad Monday. A guy finds out at 2pm he's playing for a new team by October. New city, new locker, new expectations. He doesn't get a season to adjust. He plays that night. But here's what nobody tells you about trades, the player never compares game one in the new jersey to his career highlights from the old one. He just plays the pitch in front of him. You're out here comparing your rookie season to someone's twenty year résumé. Wrong comparison. Play today's pitch.
